Default NYC vs .CALI INSURANCE RATES

Hey guys this is primarily for anyone that has moved from NYC to California. I am going to be attending grad school in California and cannot leave my S behind. I was wondering if anyone had info on how much of a diff insurance rates are in NYC to California. Any info woudl be greatly appreciated. Thanks a million.

It depends on several things. Personal factors such as age, driving history, car, etc. I believe they vary the rates depending on where you end up living. Some neighborhoods will cost over twice as much as others. Companies also vary in their pricing.

If you post in the SoCal forum you will probably get more replies and it would help if you stated age range,driving record and where you are planning on living?
