You may have already gotten it, of course, but if not I love the Injen CAI in mine. The only downside (if yours is the same one) is that it puts the intake right next to the fenderwell (meaning if you drive in heavy rain or through a huge puddle you're likely to suck water into the engine).
As long as you're careful about it (and aren't missing your fenderwell liner on the right side) you should be fine though.

Thanks for the reply.I am going to see the car at about 3pm cst. The owner said it sounds great because of the cai but now i'm wondering if it ever sucked water in. If it did would it just dry out or kill the engine? Worse thought is that it would do something to the ECU and not restart. What do you think?
1. insignificant concern.. can you get the original air box.. if not, also insignificant enough.. everybody has some air delivery system they like an why... CAI's are good, they make noise it's cool..
2. it's an 06.. they have a ECU which is for lack of a better word, chipped, programmable, re-programmable.. updateable... something you pretty much want... comes that way anyway.. and could mean it has been upgraded to what you do want.. means it's tunable..
The owner has original air box so that's a plus.
I'll see it in a little while.

relax...thinking a lot is fine.. over thinking wastes energy...
I run a CAI, anyone who does, usually is very very aware of water.. avoid it properly and it does not present a concern. DO Not enter deep water... learn about it... or, you can change it out easy... he has the factory air box..
remember, we have a 150 picture minimum.... so don't be shy.... i'm only kidding on the minimum limit... take a pic or two.. we do love'm...

Like others have said, don't worry too much about the cold air intake. I have an AEM V2 cold air intake on my car (sits in the same place as the Injen if I'm not mistaken) and I drive it literally every day, have been for the past 4 years. That being said, I've driven in several rain storms, some of them being torrential downpours, driving through deep puddles and pushing water over the hood before...never had a single problem
Just be mindful where you drive and you'll be ok.
Looking forward to your comments on the car.

I plan to get the vehicle tomorrow unless this difficulty engaging reverse is a big deal. Just have to eat more Wheaties maybe.
