Default OBD scanner for RPM data?

Im looking to rent my s2k out during the summer as I live near a lot of nice beaches. The main thing Im worried about is people beating it up and redlining it around everywhere. Part of the fun is doing this but not all day. I doubt there is anything with the live stats but is there anything that records this data so that I can check it when the car is returned? Reviews after each drive seem to keep people pretty honest.

I think all the insurance company has that OBD scanner.
BTW, just wondering how much you will charge to rent your S?

For what its worth - maybe nothing - I think this is a bad idea. High likelihood your S will never be the same again.

I cringe at this idea knowing how I treat my rental cars. How will insurance work?

hence the reason I want something that tracks rpms. The app is called TURO if you want to check it out. Insurance is fully covered by the app.

Even if you can get this RPM data, what can you do with it? Charge the guy $50 on top?

The better course may be to enforce a rev limiter via Hondata. A lot less hassle and worry than having to check to see if someone ragged out your S. You're a brave man!
