Default Observations after 7 great days

Hard to believe it's only been one week since picking up the Suzuka Blue! 659 miles on the odometer, had 10 on it when I picked her up. What a blast. I giggle every time I'm in the car, and didn't think I was a giggler!

Some observations:
1. I guess I'm going to have to get used to every bonehead in a riced out civic trying to race me.
2. I guess I'm going to have to get used to people I don't know waving at me on the road and going "cool car!"
3. Impulse control to this point has been good, but of course, I haven't been pushing the engine too terribly hard, keeping everything below 6K.
4. If I had this car when I was 16, it would have killed me.
5. note to self - when detailing tires - do not get any tire cleaner on tread. Bad plan. Took a corner (low speed) and while I had fun sliding through the corner, my wife just about peed in her pants. oops.
6. Been averaging about 25.5 mpg in mixed driving, 99% top down.
7. LOVING EVERY STINKING MINUTE OF IT.

Welcome to the forum!

And if you're having this much fun after 7 days, just think... it only gets better with time.

From personal experience, one of the best way to properly bond with your new Suzuka is to take it on a nice long road trip. Since your Suzuka is already past the 600 mile point, what are you waiting for?

BTW, make sure to check the tire pressure; my tires were over-inflated at 40+psi from the dealer. Have fun and be safe!
