[B]3. You've done you're break in period now. It's time to let loose! May I recommend jumping on it exiting the toll plazas on 190.

The break in period is only for the first 600 miles. He is past that so why not have some fun with it?

No, no joking here. He stated that he's at 659 meaning he's passed the manufacture's recommended break in period (600 miles) and he's allowed time for proper valve and ring seating. What would you see as the harm in VTECHing at this point?

thanks for the warm welcome folks! I'm going to have to confess, and hang my head in shame, that I got schlacked by a VW Jetta on Saturday night. Yes, it's true. Sitting at a stop light, talking to my wife when the light turns green and all of a sudden I hear waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahg, followed by a screech of the tires as the dumb *ss in a Jetta comes blazing by me and then has to slam the brakes on to catch the red light under the overpass. He was looking at me like he'd just done something really awesome and all I could do was wave as I toodled past him while he was waiting to turn left.... I'll try to do better next time, guys I promise.

As for the road trip, going to Little Rock next week, got the sunscreen ready!

Checked tire pressure at first fill up the driver's side tires were at 33 and the passenger's at 32. All currently at 32. Had VERY minimal oil consumption at the first fill up (I did check at the dealer, too, just to make sure!) and no consumption that I could discern at the 2nd fill up. I have to admit, I've started VTECHing and ohmygosh! How cool is that? So I'll be interested to see if the oil consumption changes or not.

Hope to see some of you local boys on the road!!

Your a better man than I am. You made it 659 miles. I cracked at 568 miles. I was on a nice straight away and i slowly brought it up and bamn VTEC. I traded in a Si with VTEC, so i was used to revving in VTEC everyday, so for 568 long miles I couldn't VTEC, it was horrible. So i admit it, i cracked under the lack of VTEC pressure. I AM WEAK
