I think that if you register with the settlement your 3 year/36K warranty is now extended to 3 years/37.5K miles.

from the article it states
"A U.S. district court in Texas will accept or reject the settlement, probably this summer. Holmes says it's rare for a settlement not to be approved. "
so i guess we won't actually receive any benefit till its completely settled?
Now I'm curious, is this also good for people out of warranty and bought the vehicle use? For example myself, I just bought a 2002 S2000, but the first owner bought this vehicle in those dates mentioned in the settlement(April 13, 2002 - Nov. 7, 2006). I just recently bought it last month and out of warranty.
Do I expect to be part of this settlement? I hope soo..hehe

4% of 36,000 miles is only 1,440 miles. I think anyone over 37.5k miles would already be considered over the extended mileage allotment. This is just a frivolous lawsuit for that TX lawyer to make some easy money.
Warranties work 3yrs/36000 miles which ever comes first, so for those of us with a pre 04 model, we're excluded. However, I would like to get the dollar value since miles=money, how much are our odometers off by anyway because you can put a dollar value to a mile on the odo.
