OEM Car Cover Question
Quite a bit because I am lazy and do not fold it properly as if it was origami.
I got around this by removing the tool tray to give extra depth. Now it stores perfectly without being obtrusive

it fits perfectly in the trunk if you lay it in the recess for the tools. all you have to do is fold it up like they show you in the pics (takes 1 min). plus it makes it easy to put on by reversing how you took it off. id have to say it was the best buy that ive made. keeps the car protected. i dont have a garage and it always pissed me off that my car was dirty the 1st day after i wash it. now i can go 2-3 weeks without a wash.
Lately I put the cover on whenever I'm not driving it. When I'm removing it, I fold it in from the sides so that it's a 2-foot-wide strip running from front to back, then roll it up starting at the front. It's less than 2 cubic feet when rolled up that way and it's very easy to put back on, just start at the back, roll it open to the front, flop the sides down over the mirrors, then stretch the back in place, stretch the front in place.
I generally keep the top down all the time, so it's just slightly more tricky rolling it up. Be sure to put your visors down before putting the top on or they'll become fuzzy.
