Default OEM Car Cover Questions...

Hello,

I just go my OEM car cover - and after washing my S the other day started using the cover to keep it dust free while in the garage.

My Q's,,,,

do you use your cover regularly when putting your car in at night? i.e even after it gets dirty?
or do you just cover a freshly cleaned car?

do you use your OEM cover outdoors? or how about indoor parking garages?

thoughts opinions appreciated.

I use it to protect against the elements when the weather is bad. Other than that I leave it uncovered.

Personally I hate using ANY type of cover cause they ALL leave a residue on the car that I CAN'T STAND. I spend an additional 15 minutes buffing out all the scuffs the covers leave on the windshield and all over the car.

I dread putting on the cover. Actually after a good wash.....I NEVER put the cover on it. But that's just me.

Personally, I'd suggest washing you cover!

I've never put the car away dirty, nor have I put the car away for the nite (inside) without the car cover. Works great - the car is always dust free and ready to go.

Washing it will not remove the smudges it leaves on the glass.

The OEM cover is NOT designed to protect against rain, sleet or snow. I use the OEM cover inside my garage or when I park at my office and the weather is dry.

Don't put the cover on a dirty car. You will just pick up grit that will scratch the car.

I did have a commercial laundry wash my OEM cover after a couple of years of indoors use.
