Is there a way to obtain it if you don't have it? Bought the car used and can't seem to find the code in the manual book or anywhere....

 

take a look for a sticker in your hatch between the seats, mine is in there .the secret compartment.

 

I took mine to the dealership and they pulled it for me in a few minutes then I was on my way (no charge)

 

If you're talking about the 5-digit security code for the radio, I had the same problem and was able to get the code from the dealership. I pulled the radio out myself to get the serial number off the back, brought the serial number to the dealer, and they looked up the code in their database for free.

Side note -- the dealer also told me there would have been a $75 labor charge if I had them remove the radio to get the serial number (rather than doing it myself). Hope this helps -- good luck!

on newer s2ks you can hold the 1 and 6 buttons when the radio is off and while holding the buttons turn it on and it will display the serial number so you dont have to pull the radio.
