Default OEM Exhaust Fitment

Can someone please tell me what model year do the exhaust differs? Is it true that MY00-MY03 (same) and then MY04-present (same)?

Are the differences due to hanger locations?

Thanks!

Yes, you are correct. All S2000 exhuasts are exactly the same. Only the hangers changed for the years you have listed. Adn they changed the bolt on tips too, from round (MY00-03) to oval (MY04-05)

Thank you for your response.

The reason I asked is because yesterday, I sold a Neuspeed exhaust to a fellow member of the board who owns a MY02 and I own a MY01. There was no fitment issues on my car. However, when he tried to install in on his, he said that based on the hangers location of the exhaust, the Y-part of the exhaust was low and it would hit the cross-member (flimsy bar).
