Default OEM Front Lip

I saw on HTG that the OEM front lip weighs 70lbs. Is that a general shipping weight or the actual weight of the part? Seems like an awful lot. This is likely my next pruchase, but not too interested in adding 70 extra pounds to the car.

Anyone know the actual weight and if it makes any difference?

70lbs is definitely not the weight of the lip.

The lip comes in a big box. The actual lip while I don't know exactly how much it weighs, is really lightweight.

maybe is 7 LB .. that's how much the honda factory lip weights with the box, the actual lip is like 1LB .. ok ok i'm not sure the weight on the OEM lip but is very very light.

I noticed that too

My guess is that it's either a typo, or it's used for some kind of shipping calculations to compensate for the oversized packaging.

Eitherway, HTG doesn't really charge any more or less than anyone else to ship the OEM lip.

I guess you guys dont ship alot of stuff.

For example, UPS has over size 1 2 3. If the box is too big, then they automatically convert it into weight to calculate the oversized cost.

so what you see 70lbs is not the ACTUAL weight. It is more like the box dimision.

TO UPS/Fedex. Size is more important than weight.
