so what you see 70lbs is not the ACTUAL weight. It is more like the box dimision.

TO UPS/Fedex. Size is more important than weight.


Some people refer that as "dimension (equivalent) weight".

Shipping companies charge you based on actual or dimension weight, which ever is greater.

^ That's what I thought, but the point of the thread was really to assertain the weight of the OEM lip. I didn't really think it was 70 lbs, but it made me curious as to what the actual weight was. I feel that has been answered, and as I origianlly planned, I will be ordering a GPW one from HTG.

70 lbs is the downforce rating at 100 MPH at sea level, 78 degrees F. Subtract out the wind force and you are left with the actual weight of the lip.
