Default OEM Front Lip?

To those of you w/the oem front lip.

How much lower does it hang below the stock bumper line? Like 1"?

If at stock height, would it easily rub on stuff that maybe your bumper wouldn't even if you drive the same exact way at departure angles, driveways etc...??

Basically is it a pain in the ass to own over no lip at all?

i believe it lowers by about a half an inch? (not quite sure), and depending on your location, you can rub a bit more easily.. for example, without a lip, i could back straight out of my driveway, however, with my lip, i have to go in and leave sideways.. but IMHO, the extra work is worth it.. it just looks so much better and aggressive with the front lip.

dont you have weather guards that hang lower than the spoiler and would scrape before the spoiler does? you know... those little flap things in front of the tires

I don't think the spoiler reduces the ground clearance at all. It seems to me that since it does protrude further forward than the original bumper, this is where clearance issues come into play, particularly with approach angles and such.

I don't believe it's wise to park an S2000 head in anyway. I avoid it at all costs since it's so difficult to gauge your distance from the curb in this car.

Another question is are you riding on stock suspension? Because clearance issues are less of a pain if your not lowered.

It only lowers the bumper half an inch if that, I have been driving just like I did before the install w/o problems thus far.
