I got mine on two weeks ago. It's great, not too low at all, if ground clearance is an issue. My car is not lowered at all. Go ahead don't be afraid to buy one. But just take precaution as before with or without the lip. The S is low enough as it is.

that 1/2" measurement is deceiving. it also adds about 1.5 " to the front of the lip, significantly reducing the approach angle. You WILL scrape the lip, only on the underside though. I scrape mine every time outta the driveway, but its on the underside, so who cares!

my car is lowered 1.5" and has the oem front lip, haven't scraped it yet. (knock on wood) just take it easy and use your common sense.

I suspect your scraping those black rubber things under the car right now.

I haven't scraped mine yet (knock on wood) since I hit a curb (barely) and cracked it. I fixed it and now it's perfect.

And mine is lowered 1.5" as well. I have like 5" clearance....

Thanks for the feedback. Only 1/2" clearance change isn't as much as I would have guessed. I think I'll give it a try....Now if I could just find a clearance deal on one

Someone on here used to make metal protector/lips for the S2000. Then they came out with a metal protector/lip thing for the front OEM spoiler. Then I think he bought a 350Z and that's the last I heard of his business.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?
