Default OEM Front Lip Clearance

I've been thinking about getting the OEM front Spoiler Lip for my 01 S2k, but I'm worried about clearance issues. Mainly going in and out of parking lots. Something in the front already seems to scrape going in and out of parking lots, and I'm afraid a front lip would just get torn up. We are your experiences with the front lip. BTW I'm at stock height.

OEM lip from what i hear only does 1/2" so that would make it 6" flat for you. I measured at 5" but I got eibach springs, i thought the s2000's ground clearance was 5" stock but maybe thats measuring from the little skid plates underneith

God is right (but isn't he always ??). I added the OEM front spoiler to mine - loss of clearance almost exactly 1/2 inch.

thats hilarious

ErikKlenke, you should try to go slowly, at angle up and down slants such as hills, some driveways, etc.. if you do, then you have less of a change of scraping the bottom of the car... with the OEM lip, if you do slowly at and angle on the slants, there shouldnt be much of a problem, just be careful
