Default OEM Front Lip Spoiler

I have an 05 s2k and I am considering purchasing an OEM front lip spoiler for my car, but I do not know how much it will affect my ground clearance. Does anybody know approximately how much it lowers the front of the car from stock bumper clearance?
Thanks

I've been considering one too.. Recently got some chin rash, the front lip would cover it perfectly. It doesn't look like it decreases the clearance too much.

My guess would be less than half an inch. It does jut straight out about an inch and a half also.

Do it - you'll love it. Mine grows on me more every day. I really notice '04s and '05s without the lip.

I installed it myself. I'm glad I did. I'm technically dumb and it went on without any problems. I've heard some horror stories of dealerships messing up the install. Amazing since it's such a no-brainer.

Look at the ends and the front of the lip when you get it out of the box - my first one had wear marks and Handa replaced it without a problem.

Hardtopguy.com has good prices and a good reputation too.

Thanks guys.
I will be ordering one soon, just wanted to make sure I wouldn't be hitting anything as long as I am careful.

Yes do it, as with the front spoiler it'll sit flush with the sides.....

just imagine your car without the lip only one nch lower in the front. The lip extends down one inch

I recently installed mine on my '05. As far as I'm concerned, it does not chance a thing as even without it, you cannot park the car head in anywhere anyway. It's too hard to judge distance from the driver's seat and any parking "stopper" is too high and will scratch the lower bumper anyhow.

The OEM spoiler does not lower the nose of the car significantly in terms of driving around town or entering/exiting parking lots except in that it does protrude forward as some have already noted.

Even before I had it I always made sure never to take inclines straight on but at an angle to avoid this as it's not my first car to easily scrape ramps/inclines.
