Thumbs up OEM Hardtop questions

I'm considering buying a hardtop for my '01 Silverstone.

I was wondering the following:

1. How does the wind noise compare on the highway to the softop?

2. Has anyone tried a black hardtop with a Silverstone body? How does it look? Have any pictures?

Thanks!

Wind noise is less but far...
I have a Sebring with a Blk HT and I was thinking about painting it but after washing and waxing it today I like just fine.
Goto the gallery forum and do a search you should find some pics.

The wind noise is definitely less. However, you will notice the engine/exhaust more. This isn't a bad thing in my book.

You'll appreciate the rear window defroster and the stiffer ride.

One of the best mods you can get. Go for it......IMHO I'd keep the top the same color as the rest of the car.

Wind noise is down, but I wouldn't say it's too noticable.

Wind noise is less than with softop up but still pretty noisey for a car in general.

If you can afford it, get it!

It's interesting that you asked about silverstone-black combination, today. I installed this combination earlier this month and took bunch of pictures today to post them in the other thread. However, I don't know how to upload pictures. Can someone help me and show me where I can put these picture files and how I can include them in a posting? I have 22 pictures.

Regarding the noise level, I think it's definitely quieter than before. I play the music pretty loud and it sounds much better than before. Besides, I used to be always conscious of others next to me at a stop with loud music, but not any more. I drive it like a regular car.

I could always help you host them up.

Just email the pics to vnkoo@netscape.net and I'll get them up.
