Default OEM Wing effects

Does anyone know whether the OEM wing for the S2000 contributes any down force?
How about the OEM trunk spoiler?
Thanks

I can't read Japanese, but also look at the picture. Maybe it provides 0 lift...?

Nothing noticeable. Unless you are going 70-80+ mph, aero packages don't do anything for you. If anything, it may reduce lift a little and minimize drag by cleaning up the air separation off of the trunk.

The guys in Europe can't buy one without the other because Honda claims that both are needed due to aerodynamic effect at higher speeds than we run.

ar...they don't work like that, if all it did was adding it's own weight then, why bother with a wing, honda could put some dumbbell and Boom..you have it.

when you drive the car, you are making a hole in the air which previously(and hopefully only) occupied by air, like all thing else you are fighting the G=9.8m/s^2 and air resistance at highway speed.

like air plane wing, it recreate force(lift or down) by creating a high, low or comblination of zone.

just for your information, the largest downforce wing on a f1 car is the undercarriage.

there's no way to tell just by looking at design, well, can you tell the prius is actually a good aerodynamic vehicle? it looks like a old nike shoes to me.

i believe all honda's areoproduct(as well as mugen) are tunnel tested.

but i doubt will they release the information.(with numbe or anything at least)

GT wing do wonder at the track, someone please donate me a trunk so i could complete my track-whore package(i have vented bumper with splitter already)
