Sebring Red/Black
$30,900. +ttt
10/29/03

My Pilot is the daily driver, this is my toy. I love this car.
All the previously mentioned upgrades over previous years plus being a year newer in deprciation is why I chose it over the '03. The car itself is a phenominal performance value. (don't read cheap) I feel very fortunate to have one and highly recommend it. You only live once!

Some minor oem mods:
The few red plastic interior pieces have been swapped with black. ie pw switch plates, trans. tunnel net and clips, and the floor mats. The only red pieces now are carpet and leather. nice.

Some minor aftermarket mods:
Rick's spun Ti knob
Rick's leather visor covers. In black.
Speed x-brace pending(group buy)
New Comptech Ti STB (on order)
Powerslot S-Cad rotors (on order)
Goodridge SS lines (on order)
Hawk HPS pads (on order)
Need to upgrade the speakers, too...

Just got an Olympus C-5060 digicam- will post pics once mods are done.

You know, from the pictures I've seen I haven't been a fan of the detail styling changes to the '04 model. I liked the old front bumper cover better, the taillights are a wash, and I think the '04 rear bumper cover styling is overdone.

However, as a whole, it seems to work. Combined with the larger 17" wheels the car now looks shorter and more nimble. The older model looks almost sledlike in comparison - very long.

The '04 in person is much prettier than pictures let on. I've seen a Silverstone and a GP White so far. Yummy.

This is just a comment i and i hope everyone understand, there seem to be too much hatred going on from some older model members, i myself for the next couple of months will be an old model owner till i can sell my car. I noticed that many are posting that this thread is total garbage, but instead of creating a segregation and making an 04 forum on this site i think this is the best thing. Been doing research on this car and spent numerous hours with the search feature on S2ki and i think its a waste of time instead of coming here and going through the pages that only talk about 04. On the first page of this thread i will be putting some of the informative threads involving the 2004 s2k as links and tittles. Refer to the first post on this thread and consider it sort of like a library.

*To suggest a thread for the library PM Turbovtk with the link to the thre

This is exactly why I voted "Total Garbage". Not because the info is not helpful but because I see no need for an "04 Owners Circle +". There is already way too much acrimony between some of the model year owners. A thread like this only serves to further drive a wedge between the two groups. Despite the fact that a number of the pre-04 owners have chosen to act like children and put down the 04 owners and car, I really don't think there's any valid reason to create any further walls between different groups. An S is an S no matter what year it was manufactured in. I just don't think that creating clubby little cliques serves to further the S2000 community spirit.

again ron, i see your point to some extend, but this is not a wall, in no way devides the groups or further implicate things unless disturbed mines don't bother to read. S2ki is an s2k board, where you come and get information on s2000 and more, this is just a way of keeping together the information of 2004 s2ks. I supposed having a racing and competition forum to keep all track and related info separate is also total garbage?! Again you want to find out about the 2004 s2ks, pics dyno plots etc you come here and with an easy bookmark be on your way, instead of searching for a couple of hours. Not to be offensive but mom always said.."if you don't like the taste of it you don't have to eat it.

Hmmm, seems to me you're the one that asked the question with the poll. Now you're giving attitude to those that seek to explain their responses. Enjoy your little club...

later, it was never meant to be a club, i own an 02 by the way at this time. I understand if you post on the poll (that is the point of the poll) but before you post you must first read and understand the intentions rather than assume, when you assume you make an ASS out of U and ME. No hard feelings, just that seggregation is not the intention here.

I think you are the one doing the assuming here. I have read every post in this thread and clearly understand your stated intentions. "2004 S2000 Owners Circle +" sounds like a pretentious little club to me. And just so you don't happen to think that I'm a disgruntled prior-year owner, my 04 which I've had on order for five weeks should be here in a few days.
