Thanks, All I needed was one person to say yes! Only reason I didn't jump on it sooner is because I was looking for Yellow not White.

How long has the current owner owned the car and how many owners total have there been? Sounds like there is still some room to negotiate...

2008 GPW

Haven't had the chance to take a look at the engine yet but he says no mechanical problems as he doesn't drive this car often
interior from pics look 9/10

He's asking 25k

As you know, asking price and selling price are not necessarily the same. If you have been thinking about it for awhile, then it apparently has been for sale for awhile. Flash some cash at a little lower price point. If he does not bite, then $25k for the car if it holds up to scrutiny is a pretty good deal, especially for a low mileage/stock/one owner/GPW car.

Yeah it's been up for 3 weeks now and I never considered buying because 25k is a steep price. But after searching forums and reading about how much other members bought their S with X amount of miles, I'm pretty sure this is a good deal. I was looking for an Ap1 just to mess around with, but I suppose having a garage queen is way worth it. I'm checking this car out at the end of this month, hopefully this turns into a sweet deal

Clearly, buyers are not knocking down his door, so the longer the car is listed the better position you are in negotiate a lower price. Super deals do not hang around for 3 weeks. If you are going to rack up a lot of miles on the car then maybe you don't want to pay the extra premium the price reflects for a very low mileage car. Keep us posted as to your progress.

What are some thoughts on:

2000
Red, black interior
3000 miles
always garaged, 2 owner. Looks pretty much new to me.

Guy is asking $23k

Wow...that's a unicorn...

Whether it is worth it or not, I bet they'll get it if they are willing to be patient...

damn. That's wild.... But you can get a 08 for that much with under 20k miles- if you can find it.

Crazy low miles for which you are paying a premium price. Are the low miles going to discourage you from driving/enjoying it? If yes, then maybe you should buy an S2K with a few more miles [probably at a lower price point] that you can truly drive/enjoy without worrying about racking up the miles.
