Yeah... I have same year and color and bought mine 3 years ago with 55k miles for $14k.... 78K is very good for that price.... Top and windshield can be fixed at your leisure..... Even if you put $1k into fixing both...... You will have no depreciation for many years to come.....

It is all about how the car was cared for.... Top and windshield, rock chips etc are all simple things that if you drive and enjoy the car.. will have to deal with eventually..

Forget comparing to books/adverts etc..

If well maintained, It is a LOT of car for $10K

I've been looking at s2000's for the past week or so, and am almost ready to buy one. I have a few in mind..

1) https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/112...-all-original/ 14.5k

2) http://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/cto/5149547678.html 15.8k

3) http://sanantonio.craigslist.org/cto/5175848906.html 15.9k

I think I'd prefer an AP2, as this is going to be a daily driver for me, however I would not say no to an older model. The College Station one looks to be in insanely good condition.

$5,500 different

Thanks!
I've seen CRs with similar mileage going for lower than that. Don't forget they will tack out their doc, title, etc., fees that usually come out to be around another $500.

I just don't want to be disappointed with the ap1 vs the ap2. It will be a daily driver for me.

The AP1 and 2006 AP2 both seem like good low mileage/well cared for cars at a reasonable price. I would give a slight edge to the NFR 2006 since it will be your daily...not a fan of spoilers though.

I was thinking to offer them $27,000 out the door, would that seem reasonable?

That would certainly be reasonable.

The problem with the rare beauties is that there is always that person willing to pay the high dollar, and the dealer knows he can be patient - we are not talking about big car dollars here. Sounds like a winner though - good luck!
