Is it official? S2000 Talk is dead.

When it comes to being a member/non-member, I choose to be a non-member for the fact that I don't have an S2000, so it wouldn't really benefit me at this stage...

Shawn- I have a feeling you're right. I can just see those threads that begin with "S2200 vs. S2000. Which should I buy?" or "S2200 Rules!" I think there will be many "us vs them" threads, which will be complete flame-fests. Of course, I will completely ignore them, but it certainly will contribute to the dumbing down of S2000 Talk. Step right up folks, get your popcorn and your beanie caps with the whirly-whirls on top, the circus is coming to town...

There will be a S2xxx Talk forum.
I am getting my new and improved "Flame Suit" fitted as I type.
Being a newbie here, I just now discovered something that I really think all newbies should be directed to visit whenever they post a question that is pretty common knowledge (to those who have owned the S2k for a while), and that is the... (drum roll please)...
S2KI.com Library!
It's right up there, in the blue bar, between "Clubs" and "Gallery". I never thought to click on it before... I dunno why. Now I'm glad I did because a lot of the common questions are answered there, as well as a bunch of really neat info that isn't mixed in w/ the useless fluff that finds it's way into the main forums. It's more like a distillation of the best of s2ki forums. Check it out.
The great thing about this library, you can whoop as loud as you want when you read something cool-- nobody's gonna tell ya to "sssh"
(except maybe your significant other)

How about this suggestion- an S2ki S2000 Talk "Club" Forum, where you need to be an owner and a member as well to have access and to post threads. That way, it's a little more private and I would have to assume slightly more dignified ( I dunno, maybe a lot); minus the flames. I think the subject content would be at a higher standard, and if someone wants to go trolling, they can simply step out and go to S2000 Talk.
