my silverstone S was pronounced total loss on 12.04.08. here are pictures from the night of the accident and pictures from the shop.

*the body damage on the rear and passenger door came from the chp since they couldnt wait for the tow and decided to push my car from the fast lane to the shoulder on the right side of the freeway.

 

wow total loss from that?

it looks like minor to the body and some suspension damage. It doesnt look like anything thats unrepairable. More importantly, how hard did they hit you to do that much damage to the rear and the door? I dont like the idea of CHP just ramming people to get them off the road. Did you just spin out and hit a curb or something?

Unless there is a ton of damage in front that i didnt see.

i spun out from the second lane to the fast lane, where my front left wheel hit the curb and stopped me from crashing into the wall of the 110N by stadium way. there is no damage to the front of the car. by the time the chp came, my dad was there to pick me up so i wasnt in the S when the chp pushed the car off the road.

 

well looking thru the thread...
happy with one thing, looks like the widsheild brace is pretty strong,
alot of the over turned cars, the windsheild still isnt crushed all the way down.

 

The yellow car flipping on the top of the page is at Road America. It at the end of the back straight away the turn is called Canada Corner.
