No where near as bad as most of these but still a accident.

Had my 03 AP1 less then 12hrs. I was on my way home doing about 45mph in a 50mph (the city road around me SUCK) it had been raining all day and someone in a lincoln grand marquis pulled out of a 55+ year old trailer park wright in front of me. I slammed on the breaks turned hard left and did a 720 (idk if it was a 720 but at the time it felt like it) sliding past his car and came to stop in a ditch. He just kept going didn't even stop. I sat in my car for a sec and composed myself before getting out thinking my car is damaged bad. Thank god only the front lip was cracked, back passanger side rim was bent (Volk 18in CE28N Bronze)the front bumper was pulled out just a little under the headlight but just pop back in + a few skid marks under the car. It looked liked i was trying to grow grass in my front grill how the lip is still on i have NO idea.

Pic of rim after. Getting the rim fixed next week.

Guess I should post my little fender bender. Nothing too significant. Friend of a Friend backed into my quarter panel when they were leaving a Bonfire party. They wern't drinking and their insurance is taking care of everything.

Apparently the driver's dad lives not far from me.

You're not kidding. My cousin was driving back to college in Boise from northern Idaho. She hit a patch of black ice and ended up sideways in the wrong lane of a two lane highway-and at precisely the wrong time. The van that hit her passenger door pushed the passenger door so far into her car that she was crushed and (hopefully) died instandly.

Any impact that pushes the door any significant amount into the passenger compartment is an accident with the potential for very serious injury.

The up side is that I haven't seen one THIS bad in this thread:

That WAS an M3 coupe wrapped literally around a small tree. Even the tree didn't fare too well. Needless to say, no survivors in the vehicle.
