Went to get a tire rebalanced, came back an hour later and found this lovely additional feature. The shop's covering most of the costs- all told I'll be out $70, which isn't enough for me to bother fighting over.

I got the car back two days ago after four days at the body shop- I missed it so much! My rental was a Dodge Avenger, which I think I can accurately describe as "unconscious".

man....this thread is great. after 3 months, i have had many a close encounter....this thread helps remind me that even if im gettin comfortable, i can always chill out a little...a mt. road i live by, ive had the back slip once, there was a 2010 camaro ss leading my S and a friend in an rx-8. so i used my brakes more than usual, anyway, got the rear end out, but kept on throttle and turned the wheel to correct, i was pretty lucky it was also an uphand turn...could have been bad elsewise....on the way to meet up after the run, i was driving in the rear, the camaro is a boat, drives right over road kill, so does my friends 4x4 rx-8, i see it last second and didnt know what it was, i was about a car behind them going 40mph, the speed limit, reacted pretty poorly in this situation and grabbed the wheel to the left, then immediately to the right, basically, did a fish tail both ways and ended out back in the same lane going straight again....sobering experience but pretty cool feeling at the time.

also, on the 40mph, it was not as drastic as typing it may have seemed, i didnt actually leave the lane i was in, never broke 90degrees either....but still close.

Man, I didn't even know this thread existed.
I'm a little late but here is my contribution; multi-car pile up on SR826 in 2008 (wrong place, wrong time... just my luck)

Black S and a silver CL.

I have a black CL and a silver S.
