I've triggered VSA several times in my car. Looking at this thread makes me wonder where I'd be if I didn't have it. I can only imagine how easy the early AP1s were to wreck.

All cars are easy to crash when the driver is in over their head , which is the case in most s2k accidents ...ive owned two Ap1 S2000s and hv yet to crash one due to the cars set up ....the S is a great car ...all of em

I guess for me I was really surprised at how tail happy it is. In the FWD cars I've owned you can be pretty ham-fisted with the throttle with almost no repercussions. With this car, you give it a little too much throttle at any given time and the rear end wants to step out. I expect this in a corner to some extent, but it's happened to me while going in a straight line too.

Anyone you guys know?

My cousin was driving the Camry - she's okay, but has a sprained wrist. Happened somewhere in the DC area. She was in the left lane, S2k was oncoming. S2k spun right in front of her, crossing the median . . . it was someone on a test drive.

Got a little more background on the crash w/ my cousin - it was a dealer car. A father & son out test driving it, apparently the dad was driving, showing his kid what the car could do.

this car is a heck of a lot easier to drive than the RWD cars in the 70s-80s - helps to have your tires to CR spec as well
