For those of you who dont mount to the secret compartment where do you mount it in the car? I dont have a secret compartment anymore because I gutted the behind the seats. I tried mounting to the hard top but moved around too much.

Question for you is...do you still have the oem seatbelts or a roll cage? If you had a roll cage, they have a roll bar mount for the gopro..

im sure its a combination of the 4k video + shooting during the golden hours + professional video editors

What is STD mode?

I just find the promo video to be a tad misleading, but I guess it's the same with still camera adverts etc.

it looks like std is standard mode...which would be the regular mode...protune mode is a different option via a firmware update that captures a higher bitrate (more shadows and highlights)

Ah, ok. I was just scanning through the specs and it looks like the bitrate of the black edition is 45mbps compared to the 15mbps of the Hero2, that alone should be worth the upgrade.

im not sure where you found the info about the hero 2 bitrate being 15mbps...but if you were looking at that link that i posted, that is comparing the 3 different versions of the hero 3
