Default oh well.... first ticket

It was bound to happen. I received a ticket for no front plate

I wanted to take a pic of the officer but my wife was not amused with the whole situation.

I was stopped at a freakin road block thing they do with the DMV. It was really annoying.

When the officer asked why there was no plate I responded with
" The front plate would take away from the beautiful lines on the car, dont you think? " He paused........ and then said "I'll be right back"

He came back with a ticket.....$44.00 failure to produce documents.....

Oh well

should have told them the bracket broke and you needed to get a new one...keep a broken bracket in the trunk and leave your plate under the passenger seat...when you see this happening put the plate on top of your dash and pray he believes your load of crap =)

I thought the no front plate was a fix-it ticket. All you have to do is put it on and show it to the police. I think they charge you a minimal fee, but it's not $44.

Not anymore Mark. Fix-it-Tickets are going the way of the dinosaur in California, Long Beach at least. I was in there with the wife's car a while back with a fix-it-ticket and the judge said I was real lucky as they were going to soon change to big and nasty tickets + you still have to fix the problem.

Long Beach has put up 4 of those communist intersection cameras in the last month too. Oh well. Time to sign up for the Libertarian party I guess.

Its ok to lie to the officer to get out of a ticket. Give them what they want to hear and offer him a Krispy Kreme if you have em.

Those are all just to funny!

Waiting for that ticket myself...But I never carry the plate with me.

Guess I need to start bring the front plate with me...or a box of donuts!
