Default Oil add in question.

I have a MY2002 w/1800 miles so far my car has burn half quart of oil I was wondering if it's okay for me to add in Mobil1 Tri-Synthetic 10W-30? If not what kind of oil should I add? Thanks

10-30 mineral based oil would be best. Admittedly the small amount of synthetic should not be a problem, but mineral is cheaper.

Supposedly Mobil Drive Clean mineral (dino) oil is repackaged as Honda oil. Use the 10W-30 weight and you'll be putting the equivalent of the factory fill without the added molybdeum.
