Default oil burning

Just curious as to why this engine is prone to burning oil?

Design of the cylinder liners and rings, high redline, high compression.

Interesting. Guess the high compression creates a "clean" oil burn since no problems with the plugs. Guess those Honda engineers know their engines.

Kinda like the Honda commercial that shows testing engines at high revs. Sounds great; but not as great as my S at redline.
