1) every 7500 miles with synthetic

2) every 3750 miles with regular oil

 

If you qualify for the "normal" maintenance schedule, I'd do option 1. If you qualify for the "severe" maintenance schedule, I'd do option 2. Just my opinion though...

I voted for option 2 since I'm on the "severe" schedule.

Did this question come up because of the cost of conventional/synthetic oil changes?

 

Neither. Mobil-1 every 3000 miles.

i agree 3000 miles mobil 1 synthetic or every 3 monts which ever come first
