I am again looking for a good used S2000. I looked last year but had to stop for reasons not related to the car. I used to read on this forum complaints about oil consumption. Was this issue only related to the 00 and 01 cars? I now have a very early 2002 RXS Type S and have had consumption issues since it was new. It has never been bad enough for Acura to do anything but it still seems high to me (It uses 1qt every 1500 to 1800 miles) and I do not want to get into that again.

Any model year S2000 can/will burn up some oil. 1qt every 2000 miles could be possible depending on driving conditions.

 

If you Vtec a lot,1 quart every 1000 miles is normal.
