almost 35K miles on my 00 and no noticable consumption

My rate went down during break-in from 0.5 qt/1000 miles to 0.1 qt/1000 miles currently. I now have around 7000 miles on the car.

Put a quart in somewhere around 2500 miles. Have about 6K now and don't seem to be using any (oil changed at 3750).

My car's been easy on the oil from day one. I check it A LOT, and after nine months and 6800 miles I've never found it more than two "X"'s down.

After looking at all of the threads about oil consumption, it's amazing how different peoples experiences are. My car has almost 7000 miles, and I've put 2.5 quarts in my baby.

5100 miles, about 1.5 quarts. Just changed the oil before putting her away for the winter - I'll revisit this thread in the summer after another 1000 miles or so....
