Default THe oil cooler

hi everyone, i have a question for the oil cooler, i live in los angeles and i need to drive to las vegas about twice a month, so is it necessary to install the oil cooler. Also and the oil catch tank is it necessary need to be install as well. thanks

Not necessary. You can run the Mugen cooling mods (thermostat, fan switch & rad cap) and it'll be as or more effective for less $$.

p.s. I do that run once or twice per month. Never any cooling issues.....and that was before I added the cooling mods and Hondata IMG.

Uh... I may be missing something here... but doesn't the S2000 have an oil cooler/heater from factory?

dont bother looking in the manual
Walk out to your car and look at what the oil filter is attached to, its a silver 1 inch thick cylindrical piece with coolant lines attached.

too late, it was way more convenient for me to look in my digital manual rather than to walk about 1/2 mile to the parking lot to pop my hood and look at my oil system ^.^
