Thumbs up oil leaking

comming from.

Hello everyone.

today I noticed that I have sprung an oil leak under my car.....but it is in the most unusual place.

It is located in the rear, right above the exaust piping on the left.....There seems to be a 2 discs (one on left and one on the right) that are connected to the frame of the vehicle.... they seem to be some kind of bushing or some kind of connecter between the frame and the differential...PLEASE HELP the oil does not seem to be tranny fluid or gear oil because it is black.

? any input is greatly appreciated!

Those are fluid filled engine mounts. One of yours is likely leaking.

ps. When you talk about left and right, you need to talk about the CAR's left or right. The exhaust header is on the car's right side.

You've more or less said it yourself. The diff mounts are fluid-filled, and have been known to rupture. See https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.phpshowto...0&#entry1840445

Sounds like that is what happened to you.

Driver's side (LHD) is the car's left. Exhaust piping is on the right. No matter, just look and feel closely around and under those mounts. There is no immediate rush to change them. If they get real bad, you may begin to notice some added vibration in the car. But fix them at your earliest opportunity.
About 80 bucks each:
