Default Oil mixed. HELP PLEASE!!!

Finally, I picked up my s2000 '02 last friday 18th . Now I've 750 km in the odometer. At 730 km I added ~30 cc (half 'X' from the dipstick) using the oil provided to me by Honda's dealer (ESSO Semi-Synthetic 10W-30)

After read the service update located in the FAQs I'm really afraid

What can I do? change the factory oil with a good 10W-30 petroleum-based oil? which can be a good choice? keep the factory oil and filling it with a new oil? keep using the same oil as now? what???

The Honda's dealer also recommend to use semi-synthetic in place of synthetic oil because this engine "eats" the synthetic oil and, moreover, make the first oil and filter change at 5000 km

This morning I have taken to the Honda mechanical's leader the Service Update. He was really surprised!!! . He is going to call me today in order to found a solution (bad one, I think... he can't get the factory oil, I'm sure)

What occurs if you mix oils from different kind? Can be my engine harmed?

Help me please

Tx

Dont panic - - I am 99% sure this is absolutely no problem whatsoever. Mixing a small quantity of semi-synth. oil will not cause problems (I did the same on 1 occasion). It will just mix into the factory fill oil.

Just get some mineral 10w-30 and top up with that from now on.

I am sure you have done nothing to hurt your car

I agree with Ian, as far as I am aware this should not cause any problems so panic over.
There are so many threads on oil as everyone has an opinion, the amount you have added should be fine, just make sure you add the right stuff next time

Papi, follow the Australian guidelines if you want to be sure your car is not going to be an oil guzzler - first oil and filter change at 1,000km!!!!, second at 5,000km.

The most important thing is to keep the oil level at full! What you put in is of less importance.

No worries. Your car will be fine. 30cc is nothing as the engine holds 4L+. It is ok.
