I understand from my dealer that excessive oil usage is common. They said that it should get better after 10,000 miles. I'm at 12K and still burning about a quart every 2,000. Has anyone else had this problem and pursued it up the line with Honda? What kind of response did you get?

 

Some people have and others haven't had the burning oil problem. If you do a search, you'll find that burning 1 quart every 1000 miles is somewhat normal if you drive in VTEC alot.

I went though 3 quarts during my first 2-3k miles. I have 30k miles and I still burn oil, but not as much as I used too.
