All I'm saying is that it seems every product a corporation produces has to be morphed to become everything to everyone and suit all possible tastes. I know that you, honda606, are one of those owners who rarely drives with the top down, so I sympathize with your situation.

However, one of the things that has always appealed to me about the S2000 was that it seemed to be designed for a very narrow purpose. Only one engine available, only one trim line, no factory options except the color, etc. Some people were left out of that equation, and I thought that was good.

The huge product spread of the Audi TT and Nissan 350Z leaves me cold.

I think having a OEM hard top on a convt. S is better than having a coupe S. It still looks good and you have the option of going convt. whenever you want. If you want a coupe, weld the OEM HT on.

I think the OEM canvas top is solid and quiet enough - no need for a hardtop over here

It is a NOT hybrid.......How many times have we been over this!
PLEASE READ THE OTHER THREADS!

The engine is a
F22C1-22000RR.

It gets 100mpg......AND.....generates 300hp......AND revs to 22000rpms
