I need to replace the battery. Any recommendations? I don't want to go stock with this one.

If you have a powerful aftermarket stereo, I'd stay with stock. Otherwise, if you are going for weight savings, check out the lightweight dry cell batteries. The NSX'ers use the ones at www.daliracing.com (do a search for battery).

not sure/dont think the nsx batteries will work.

I know spoon has a lighter weight one. but it will cost some bucks for shipping.

Why are you replacing the battery so soon? Did you discharge it somehow?

Lucid........you blow something up? Or did you leave your radio on?

Please do not go stock......don't go delco......don't go spoon! Go out to your local boat shop or even online and find yourself a Optima RED top batterie. Its a closed cell batterie so it has no water to fill up and would go very nicely with your red top engine!

They are very very powerful and work extremely well! Granted it was a bigger batterie but I would run my huge stereo over 1,000 RMS watts in amps for 5-6 hrs at 1/4-1/2 volume and still pleanty of juice to crank over the car. Left your fog on all night........NO PROBLME!

Look into it........they are expensive but not more than $125.

I've actually heard the same thing as pinky mentioned - optima boat batteries - I plan on putting one in my 4runner in the next few months, it's battery should be dead soon(over 4 years old). the s2000 has a ways to go before the battery dies/gets weak...I hope...
