Default Ok lets be honest!

How many of you here let the "damn this car is going to attract the opposite sex" thing play a major factor in your decision to get a S?

None... That's just a potential perk.

I don't see the S as a... (ahem) "poon-magnet". That's the job of Porsches and BMW's. Most women aren't very impressed when you tell them it's a Honda.

-not true, most don't know that honda makes the S. But, the poon factor was not a player. I could have bought an M3 or a boxterS, but chose the s2000 after one drive....just felt like a sportscar should.

I agree with timbean & JRSC_Si........not a factor of purchasing, just a perk.

and if in a social setting w/ the "opposite sex" and the subject of you driving a "Honda" comes up, it's not necessarily a date killer, nor a date closer, but i'd have imagine it's much easier just to "pick 'em up" driving by, since it looks like (and is) more than JUST a "Honda"

I have a steady gf, so I got it for the joys of driving. But I have to say... chick dig it! This one girl thought it was a $90K car!

It didn't pursuade me into buying the car but a few weeks after I got it I did get laid by a total stranger who later that night told me the car was a turn on.

I didn't really expect that...maybe if it was a Ferrari or Lambo but a Honda

I bought mine for the pure performance, but the fact that the S2k was rated as one of the "top ten chick magnets of the year" doesn't bother me too much.
