I get more looks from my own wife now.
but i do get a lot of the "honda-boyz" checking it out. who can blame them? before i owned this car, i'd say i walked up to it everytime i saw it in a parking lot, way more than any other car i've ever checked out...

I drive a bmw and I've let girls get with me cuz of my car...yeah it's good to
but after that...they are worth nothing to me
Always wanted this machine because of the high performance and the reliability of a honda! The chick-magnet theory did not come into play of the purchase, but I would say a lot of women will be checking me this summer. :-)
I had the chick-magnet theory work for me when I had the CRX and the CBR. When I bought something more practical like my Mazda B2000 p/u, well lets just say there was a dry spell at that time. Chicks are soooo shallow.
Just tell everyone that you have an S2000. Most don't dare ask you what it is for fear of being looked at as car illiterate. I just describe it as a roadster convertible. haa haaaa

Hmmm......while the test drive is what sold me on the car, I have to admit the S has really gotten me some attention. The first night I brought it to my usual riding spot a chick (complete stranger) let me see her clit ring cause I let her sit in it. I thought my bike was a great chick magnet, but in the S I don't have to bring a spare helmet to give em a ride

my reasons for buying in order....
1. most important - performance (no explanation required)
2. styling (IMO, it is the most beautiful car south of $50k)
3. exclusivity (not a dime a dozen like camaros or wrx's, the other two cars i considered)
4. reliability/fit and finish (come on its a honda)
5. resale value (again, no explanation required)
and then a distant sixth, the chick factor. no doubt they dig it but if it was missing one of the above, i wouldn't be driving it.

I'm married so I can't say attracting the opposite sex was a big factor in my decision in getting the S2000. I decided on this car for its performance, but during my second test drive I was on the highway top down and 2 gorgeous blonds in a mustang came up next to me honked and gave me the thumbs up. Being a guy that always makes you feel good!
