old owner - wanting to pull the trigger on a new one
I think you meant the BYS Seat rails to lower the stock seat.
As far as the modifications, really a HFC + exhaust along with a tune will wake the car up the most. If you want to chase numbers then @Urge has great products for that. Headwork, ITBs, Fluidampr, Header, and full exhaust.
Personally I have preferred doing smaller changes over time.
Subframe collars and good wheels + tires would be a great place to start! Congrats on re-joining the cult

Also thanks for the parts suggestion, i'll have to look at their offerings! like I said, my goal is to just sort of polish up what the car is (even if this means sacrificing a little 'comfort' for a little more performance) without going FI since that kind of kills the spirit of Honda's whole high-revving NA philosophy that the S2000 embodies.
For wheels 'n tires I'd been thinking to swap to some AP2 v1 wheels but I'm not seeing anything that's drastically better aftermarket - is that not really something that I should bother with? I know back a few years ago for AP1's at least Mugen MF10's were popular but finding a set in good condition is nigh impossible now and even if you do they're probably 5k+ just for the wheels which seems a little silly to me when I can get AP2 wheels for probably under $400.
Glad to be back - just anxious to get the car delivered hopefully today
