My 2001 when parked for winter on November 11th has 4,219 KM's (2700 miles). It has never been driven in rain or snow. The Spa Yellow Pearl was only ever offered in Canada in 2001 and came only as a special edition which included absolutely every S2000 option and accessory. Only 48 were built and hence they are very rare. I enjoy the detailing as much as the driving.

Unfortunately, I travel for work, so I am only at home 6 or 7 nights per month.

LUV2REV - nice low miles. I to do not drive mine in the winter, but I have been in the rain a few times.

I'm curious about your statement that only 48 of your type of car were made. Is there a registry or something? The reason I ask is my - MY00 - has every option Honda offered such as spoilers, side strakes, alarm, 6-disc changer, titanium shift knob, black chrome emblems etc. Was there some sort of box on the order form to order a special edition or did you have to "build" it that way?

There is no registry, Honda Canada only made 48 available (46 actually, 2 were destroyed in shipping and never sold) and they were allocated to the top dealers in the country. Spa Yellow Pearl was never offered as a regular color choice in Canada like it was in the U.S.A., it is a very rare color up here as it was only available in 2001 on the 46 "Special Edition" cars. The cars are not numbered but were shipped to Canada with everything already installed (including the hardtop) and sold as Special Edition's, you could have built your own by adding every S2000 option/accessory, it just wouldn't be Spa Yellow Pearl.
