I hate the rear end of this car. Too much like a Miata.

The Weight.

If it was closer to 2,400-2,500 it would be perfect IMO.
I agree. It would be terrific at 2400 lbs. Also the start button, how dumb is that ?
If the car worked on a sensor that told it an approved key was in the car so you could just use the start button then great. As it is you have to insert and turn key like any other car then reack for something else as well. Just dumb.

A clock I can see without opening the radio door.

A higher 6th gear. When I'm just cruising on the highway I don't need 4000-4500 RPMs.

Special rates for melanoma screenings.

The fact that you can only put the top down with the e-brake engaged. I'd like to be able to put it down going down the road, instead of having to pull off to the side and pull the e-brake to put it down.
There is a VERY simple fix for this. Takes 5 minutes to defeat. There is a link in my sig. (You still have to use the handbrake, but only up one click and can move the top while the car is moving.)

Lighter weight would be good.

No need for traction control or paddle shift. Too gimicky.

All I want is a tilt steering wheel.

to some, this would take away from the s2000's image, much like adding a traction control. this is what i like about the s2000, it has an LSD for traction control. if people want traction control, buy a bmw. however, i wish that the s2000 was factory-turbo, which would also change its image. thats my only problem with the car, the lack of a turbo. everything else is mint; and i like my start button.
