one bad thing about s2000
i agree with painty, this thing needs stock 4.57's that dont buzz and maybe a nice big brake kit from brembo like the one on the evo or sti, doesnt have to be so big but some good looking rotors that dont rust so easily and calipers that you dont have to paint inyour garage. for 30k you should get spiffy brakes

A direct shift gearbox with paddle shifting.
Oh and more power... but what car in this price range couldn't.
Better wearing leather seats would be nice and that sun visor.

A real glovebox not some stupid space between the seats.
Miata cloth type seat covering option , not some rat leather that wears quickly. Besides the car is supposed to have the top down and you burn your a$$ in the summer with the rat leather now in the car.
2400/2500 lbs max.
300hp NA .
Paddle shifters option. 3 pedal driving dates to the Model T in other words old technology.
Calipers that allow a quick change of the brake pads.
Brake bias valve in cockpit.
Cockpit adjustable suspension.
Nav system option with built in firewire to upload race tracks and download track data and built in lap timer.
A top similar to the 350Z where a panel covers the top. Not leaving it exposed to the sun to cause premature aging. Not to mention a more finished look .
A top that doesn't drip water on the power window controls when you drive in the rain and lower the window.
Quick release steering wheel.
1 turn lock to lock option.
Gas filler on top of the car not on the side where the square breaks up the lines of the car.
Antenna built into the wind screen.
Speedster windscreen option .
Other than that the car is fine ,LOL .
For those that asked for traction control ,the car has it . It's called your right foot.

Almost everything in your list is BS, and would never be seen in a production car. Quick release steering wheel? How do you do that with an airbag genius? Cockpit adjustable suspension would put this car into the $50k+ range. The car was meant to be a simple back to basics roadster.
And to the guy who said no ABS, I believe there is an ABS fuse, just take it out and see how much better you are without it.

I think I would want better wearing leather seats, but I try to not let that get to me. I have no problems what so ever about the other aspects of the stook, it's a unique driving experience that you either enjoy or hate.
