one quick simple question
My car is jacked up at my friend's garage right now and it will be until tomorrow because today, while i was doing oil change, oil filter got stuck somehow and could not get it out. so i'd have to finish it up tomorrow. but i was just wondering, if its okay to leave the car jacked up.
it's jacked up on the front right behind the two front wheels with jack stands...
thanks

I'm contemplating this for my car over the winter as I want to do some work on it as well.
My only worry is the suspension is spending a long time beyond it's normal travel. Will this not damage the rubber bushes?

I left my car on jack stands for a few weeks at one point, its not a problem.
The only thing you need to worry about is if you leave all that weight supported by a jack only because it will usually fail after about a week. This happened to me twice, but I had bricks underneath the car just in case and when I came back to the garage the car was on the bricks and their was hydraulic fluid all over the floor.
