Do you have a high-security valet key or standard chip key?
The speciality key is high-security and can ONLY be used in this type of door/ignition.
The dealership will use you VIN to get the key code. then give it to a key vendor who will cut it. Youll need to use a bigger name company for the key cut/program if you are infact using a high srcurity key.
I use Hi-Tech national quite often.
