Opinion Needed - Weapon R Seats
Like to hear from someone who has seats by Weapon R in their S2000. Need your comments. Specifically, how well do they fit in the car and how comfy are they? I'm 65 with a 36" waist and want to run the car occasionally in solo II events plus use it on the street and an occasional show.
Thanks,
Gerry
Thanks,

Thanks RazorV3,
When I bought the car, it had a Weapon R cool air intake and a NeoSpeed exhaust. I know little about the various brands, but I want to stick with just a few names, thus my post.
I'm retired and not making near what I was a few years ago. :-)

im sure those weapon r mods you have are doing more harm than good. i know that the weapon r intakes utilize "sponglike" filters that can be detrimental to your engine. sure they might increase air flow, but it's also taking in debris or other particles that can scratch up your cylinder walls.
You'd probably be better off without these seats, too. As far as I know, Weapon*R does very little R&D to see if their products actually work. They're more concerned with helping the budget minded enthusiast achieve the "look" of performance. There is no telling how well that seat will actually hold you in place during an auto-x event or even how long the fabric will stand up to top-down driving on sunny days.
You'd most likely end up doing more harm than good. I'd suggest you check out some Recaros or maybe some OMPs. They're more expensive, but remember, you get what you pay for. And when your safety is in question you don't want to skimp. If money is really tight, look for some used seats from a quality manufacturer with a good record
