I wanna let you guys know I appreciate all these comments. I guess the folks down here in the Pensacola area don't want to hurt my feelings, but I want to know the truth - even though it hurts. The red Weapon-R intake looks so neat on my new formula red. Oh well.

Why don't you just get the seat with no name? It cheaper and made by the same company. It around 320-350 for a pair. Plus get the shorter bracket so you can sit lower.

look into "corbeau" seats if you want a good quality seat at a great price. these seats are actually functional.

Well, since I got all this admiration of Weapon R, I've been looking around at various seats. I can get my seats upholstered, adding red leather around the outside for $300/seat and not touching the black center. Not a bad deal. But also I've been looking at Recaro seats. I've always admired Recaro and I don't think many people would bash them. The price isn't as bad as I initially thought. Now I have to find out if they're narrow enuf to fit in the S2000.

Don't forget that our OEM seats are also manufactured by Recaro, just without the name on it.

As for Weapon R, it is complete JUNK, something only Pep Boys or some little shade tree ricer shop would carry. I would definitely lose the Weapon R intake and replace it with something that has had more R&D put into it such as AEM, Comptech, or if you have $$$ sitting around, the Mugen.

wow - some harsh words... never heard a thing about weapon r quality (either way). then again, i have a set of rota slipstreams on my civic (no flames please)

ive been doing some research for comfortable reclining seats that fit the S without modifications... so far the Corbeau A4 looks like the best option. $640 for the pair, or about $700 for lumbar support...

if youre doing this more for the track, the sparco roadster seats would to be a nice set... just cant recline the seats

good luck

I think for 350 a pair for seats are nice. Especially if it has no name so people will not rag on it that much. Reclining chair are expensive when you consider the alternative. I like the SRD though and they are nice. Recaro I believe is to be one of the best seat manufacture in the world.

Oh dirty word......

Well, I sent Recaro an e-mail and got THREE replies within nine hours.

Alas, according to Recaro, none of their sport seats are narrow enuf to fit in an S2000.
