Not too happy at the moment, as on Friday my pride and joy had an encounter with a Micra. They were driving on the wrong side of the road along a queue of traffic and hit me as I was pulling on to the road. The upshot is I now have a big dent starting from the drivers side wheel arch and going all the way to just in front of the rear wheel. The door is destroyed, as well as the sill, with quite a substantial amount of damage to the front wing. Has anyone here had the misfortune to have a similar sort of accident, and what was the cost to replace all these bits? I'll post pictures as soon as I can get my hands on a digital camera.

Rigor,
Both I and my silver/black are sobbing with you! So sorry!
For what it is worth, body shops do such much better jobs today as long as they work with replacement parts from OEM. Since our cars are low volume to begin with, OEM replacement parts might even be the only choice. It should be absolutely good as new but you will be without it for several weeks up to six weeks, I bet.

Sorry to hear about it. It wont be cheap, parts, labour and paint I'd guess 2500 pounds maybe more.
